It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Linda Louise Ottosen at Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Linda was born in Kansas City, Missouri, United States, on August 12, 1946 to Winfred and Emma Louise McEver. Linda loved to solve Crossword and Jigsaw Puzzles. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Mission Thrift Store. Linda will lovingly be remembered by her husband, Donald Ottosen; her children, Rebecca (Doug) Barlow of Red Deer, Alberta and David (Tara) Ottosen of Abbotsford, British Columbia; her twin grandsons, Jake and Max and granddaughter, Cassidy Barlow; and her grandchildren, Apphia and Daxon Ottosen. She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Kathleen Jones of Nooksack, Washington and her brothers, Dave (Jan) McEver of Franklin, Tennessee and Dan (Karen) McEver of Sparta, New Jersey. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Winfred and Emma Louise McEver. Trisagion Prayers will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 107 Vermont Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Rite will be celebrated at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with The Reverend Father Doctor Timothy Chrapko Celebrant.
