Herne, Eva Augusta
Passed away at Hope Street Terrace Nursing Home, Port Hope on Wednesday January 16, 2018. Eva Andrus in her 98th year beloved wife of the late Reginald Herne. Loving mother of Margaret (Douglas Clancy), Ralph Herne and Patricia (Klaas Heykoop). Survived by grandchildren Linda (Mike Storey), Roland Clancy (Karen), Susan Clancy (Tom Dundon), Sheila (Rob Calder), Shelley (Tim Wittmer), Carol Cairns, Brandon Heykoop and great-grandchildren Shannon (Ryan Buote), Meghan and Maeva Storey, Justin Clancy (Sarah) and Kendra Clancy, Jonathan Wittmer (Emily) and Rebekah Wittmer and Trevor Cairns (Amanda), Alyssa and Curtis Cairns and great-great-grandchildren Cooper Clancy and Zoey Buote. Sister of Yvonne Hoy, and the late Mary Dundas, Lucinda Kennedy, Tom, Brenton, Edward, Clifford, and Bruce Andrus. Survived by sister-in-law Gladys and Aleda Andrus. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Friday 2-4 and Saturday from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment, Welcome Church Cemetery.
