Michael Edward “Mike” Maddison
76 years, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019. Beloved husband and travel partner of Marilyn (Getty, nee Ellwood) for over 32 years. Cherished father of Michael (Kelly), and step-father of Michelle Garant (Rick), Arlene Ivanisevic (Dario) and Dean Getty (Moira). Much loved Papa/Grandpa of Kris, Tim, Joe, Sara, Jessica, Emma, Braedon, Lillyanna and great grandfather of Jaxon and Violet. Dear brother of Anne Wileman (Allan) of the UK. Mike will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends. He was retired from Chrysler after 34 years of service and a member of Unifor Local 444. Mike had a love for golf and spending time with his golfing buddies. He was a terrific cook with a pallet for almost any type of food, especially curry. He loved his time at the cottage, and spent many winters around the world most recently spent in Mexico. Mike was known for a good joke and loved to make people laugh even at his own expense – he was full of life. Cremation has taken place. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor & Es County Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Memorial visiting Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 pm with a time of Celebration to honour Mike at 7:30 pm at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
