It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Jim Whelan on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the age of 69.
Husband of Wanda Whelan (Kranz). Proud Dad of Chris (Lisa) Whelan, Andy (Amelia Daigle) Whelan, Julie (Gerald Dinkel).
Proud grandpa of Kiera and James.
Son-in-law to Garnet Kranz.
Brother of Jill (Leonard Gribbon), Brian (Francine) Whelan, Myles (Johanne) Whelan and Judy Whelan.
Predeceased By his parents Trudy and John James Whelan.
Memorial visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Killaloe, Monday morning at 11am. In lieu of flowers those wishing to donate in memory of Jim may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. Tribute, condolences and donations can be made online at www.zohrfuneralhome.com
