Ralph Donahue March 2 1940 January 9 2019 (age 78)

It is with broken hearts, the family of Ralph Donahue announce his passing on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the age of 78 years.
Ralph was born March 2, 1940 in Biggar SK and raised in the Oxborough Community. On October 16th, 1971, Ralph and Edith (Edie) Resch married, and had 2 children born to them, Jay, and Dallas.
Ralph worked for the Department of Highways for 27 years, retiring in 1996.
Over the years, Ralph’s love of music and playing music was well known. He played in many bands from around the area, including being one of the founding members of the “Trail Riders”. This love of playing will live on in many of his recordings. Ralph was accomplished on many instruments, including the guitar, bass, and steel guitar. Many people have enjoyed seeing him over the years sitting behind his steel guitar playing toe-tapping music for all to appreciate.
Ralph’s love of family was felt by all, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife of 47 years, Edie, his son Jay (Marilyn), daughter-in-law Rebecca, his grandchildren; Justin, Elijah, Kyra, Levi, Channah, Brett, Taylor, and Ryan, as well as his other daughter-in-law, Trish McNeil. Sadly Ralph had been predeceased by his son, Dallas in November of 2018.
At Ralph’s request, there will be no service, and a private family interment will happen at a later time.
