Obituary for Alice Irene Thibault (Nootchtai)
Alice Thibault (Nootchtai) died on January 10, 2019 peacefully in her home. Widowed by her loving husband Luke (Lucien) Thibault. Mother of Harold Nootchtai (predeceased); Charlotte Cropper and friend Vic Fragomeni; Andy Thibault and partner Lucie Thibault (Larocque); Neil Thibault and partner Melissa Koutecky, Bert Thibeault and partner Lesley Frankie Hanes. Alice’s parents Walter and Alice Nootchtai both predeceased. Survived by her sister Dora Nootchtai and will be reunited in the spirit world with her brothers and sisters. Will be missed by her grandson Dennis Cropper and partner Shelley Doucette; grandchildren Nicholas, Maxine, Nina (predeceased), Isabel, Owen, Martina Nootchtai; Danny Nootchtai; Samantha Moore; Casey Hammond; Harley Davidson; Jessica and Curtis Thibault. Sadly missed by her great grandchildren Cullen Doucette, Alice Cropper, Avery Cropper; (Little) Harold Nootchtai; and lovingly thought of by many great grandchildren. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and community members.
Resting at
Atikameksheng Anishnawbek Complex.
Wake will begin at 3pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
Funeral Services will take place at 11am on Sunday, January 13, 2019
Feast to be held after services.
Donations can be made to Diabetes Canada or Alzheimer Society Sudbury on Alice’s behalf.
