Donald’s Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Muyres of Camrose, AB (formerly Forestburg, AB) on January 7, 2019.
Donald will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Audrey, his daughter Michelle (Kerry) Busse, son Paul (Deni) Muyres and his grandchildren Megan, Rylan and Braden Busse.
He is survived by his sisters Kathleen Prehn, Donna Krysko, Celina Muyres and his brothers Urban (Annette) Muyres and Laverne Muyres, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Rosa, brothers Raymond, Pascal, Eugene and sisters Leona, Rita and Delores.
Donald was born, raised and spent his life in Forestburg. He worked with his family’s coal mine, did construction and farmed with his father. His passion was farming, primarily grain and beef, although he did have dairy, pigs and chickens over the years.
He took over a rural mail delivery route from his father and reached an incredible milestone of 55 years of rural mail delivery in 2015, when he retired.
Donald was a proud father, grandfather, farmer, rural mail carrier and one we must not forget, the owner of 3 Desoto cars. He loved going to show and shines and showing off his cars, while meeting many wonderful friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on January 15 at 2 pm at Our Ladies of the Prairies Parish in Daysland, AB. Donations in Donald’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
There will be refreshments and fellowship to follow.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Donald John Paul Muyres June 23 1934 January 7 2019..
