Helga Anna Elsabe Vohs of Raven, Alberta passed away at Red Deer Hospital on January 4, 2019 at the age of 96 years. Helga was born in Tolk, Germany on March 6, 1922 where she was raised. She learned the trade of housekeeper then trained as a morse code operatory and was stationed in Denmark during World War 2. She married Hans Vohs on October 5, 1951. They moved to Canada on February 1, 1979 and starting farming in the Raven District. She passed awat ib January 4th, 2019 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital after a short battle with a stroke. She will be lovingly remember by her children Sabine (Reinhard) Mohr and Wilhelm (Cheri), her six grandchildren, Han Peter Mohr, Jens, Peter Mohr, Anna Katarina Mohr, Cameron Vohs, Nickelle Vohs, and Carlene Vohs, also by her sister Lola Wolf. She is predeceased by her husband Hans Vohs, her brother Karl Heinz Hansen and sister Gertrud Stoltenberg. A Funeral Service will be held at the King of Kings Lutheran Church in Dickson, Alberta on January 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Mustard Seed or the King of Kings Benevolent Fund.
