Yvonne was born in Williams Lake on Tuesday September 13, 1966. Growing up she attended Mountview Elementary, Seventh Day Adventist Academy, and Columneeza Sr. Secondary graduating in 1984.
In the late 80’s she moved to Vancouver and began working in the food industry. October 1990, she welcomed a beautiful baby girl. Mandee was her pride and joy.
In 1993 Yvonne and Mandee moved back to Williams Lake to be near her family. In 2000 she met the love of her life…. her Soulmate Gord. Shortly after the family of two became a family of 6, Yvonne, Mandee, Gord, Dylan, Dakota, and Logan. Moving to Kamloops where they settled until 2005 when they relocated to Grande Prairie Alta. 2007 she opened a Nail Salon which became very successful. October 31, 2015 Yvonne married Gord in the presence of their children. Sadly on March 1, 2018 Yvonne passed away with Gord at her side. Yvonne was liked and loved by all who crossed paths with her. Her spirit will never be forgotten.
Lovingly remembered by her husband Gord, Daughter Mandee, Stepsons Dylan, Dakota and Logan. Parents Betty and Albert Horvath, her brother Richard, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure; you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Yvonne on Saturday March 17th, 2018 at 2PM at the Clairmont Senior Citizens Centre (9801 100 Avenue, Clairmont).
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Yvonne’s memory to Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue Grande Prairie, AB (E-transfer: (info@bandagedpaws.org, Donation envelopes available at the Celebration of Life)
