1929-2018
Yvon LeBlanc, 88, of Résidence au Benaise, Saint-Antoine and
formerly of Dieppe, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family,
at the Moncton Hospital on Friday February 23, 2018. He was married
to the late Lina Babineau (2014). Born in Moncton, he was the son of
the late Levi and Laura (Roi) LeBlanc.
He will be sadly missed by his four children; Georges of Irishtown,
Rhéal of Notre-Dame, Gisèle LeBlanc of Saint-Antoine and
Lise Bourque (Paul) of Dieppe, his three grandchildren; Marc, Crystal,
Janelle and five great grandchildren; Alexandre, Zachary, Annie,
Hayley and Jacey. He also leaves to mourn his nine siblings; Florence
Garland (Ronald), Louise Stacey (Andrew), Gerard (Rachel), Mary
LeBlanc all of Saint-John, Lorraine Dupuis (Late Fred), Claudette
Downing (late Gerald) of Grande-Digue, Cécile LeBlanc (late
Arthur) of Moncton, Alma Legere (Victor) of Whitney, ON, Rita Richard
(Léonard) of Oshawa, ON, a special friend, Cécile
Bastarache of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent as well as several nephews and
nieces.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation at the
funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 1,
2018 at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Antoine at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Fair Haven
Memorial Garden at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donation of the
donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
