The family announces with great sorrow his passing at home in Hanmer, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the age of 78 years. Beloved spouse of Christine (née Collis) Caesar of Hanmer. Son of the late Gérard and the late Bertha (née Giroux) Nadeau. Loving father of Alain (Laura), Marquis (Meigan) both of Hanmer and of Christine’s children Tammy Dumont (Mario), Elizabeth Proulx (Mike) and Deana Humphrey (Dean). Dear brother of Larry (Lorraine), Denis (Yvette), Marie-Marthe Surprenant (Gérard), Lise Rodrigue (Léo), Diane Dieumegarde (Normand), Colette Roy (Claude) and Margo Charron (Jean-Guy). Predeceased by his siblings Lizette Clement (Roger) and Guy (Jeannine). Cherished grandfather of Josée, Kayla, Sophie, Logan, Miguel, Kayla, Bailey, Destiny and also Christopher (Kendal) and great-grandson Regan Humphrey. Lovingly remembered by Denyse Nadeau (née Jacques) . Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and his canine companion and best friend Katie. Yvan was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree council 5005, Hanmer and a member of the 4th degree St Jacques Assembly. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse. Cremation to take place at the COOPERATIVE CREMATORIUM, Chelmsford.
