It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilson Benjamin Wicks announce his passing on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 52 years Bonnie Wicks (nee Tulk); children: Walter (Lisa) Wicks, Corner Brook, Tammy (Carl) Taylor, Jackson’s Arm and Barbara (Darren) Gardner, Pasadena; grandchildren: Jenna, Alexandra, Patrick and Hailey; sisters: Catherine (Samson) Moss and Ethel (Calvin) Brophy; brothers: Thomas (Annie) Wicks, Norman (Verna) Wicks, Carl (Mary) Wicks and Boyd Wicks (Joan Hillier); brother-in-law Jim (Sandra) Tulk; sisters-in-law: Edith Tulk, Jean Tulk and Joan Tulk; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Priscilla Wicks, son Michael Wicks, parents-in-law Walter and Pearl Tulk, sister-in-law Joan (Donald) Ford, brothers-in-law Raymond Tulk, Maurice Tulk and George Tulk. Friends may visit St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Jackson’s Arm on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rt. Rev. David Torraville officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Corner Brook Long Term Care.
