Obituary of William McBrien
McBrien, William Harry – of Ridgetown, passed away at home on Saturday January 13, 2018, age 75. Born in Duart, Ontario, to parents the late Violet (nee Mills) and Robert Harry McBrien.
Loving husband of Beth (nee Irving) McBrien for 52 years.
Beloved father of Sean and wife Deena McBrien of Ridgetown.
Brother of Mary Ellen Siddall of Blenheim.
Brother-in-law of Marjorie McBrien of Ridgetown and Edgar (Marjorie) Irving of Burlington.
Predeceased also by his brother Tom McBrien.
Will be missed also by his many nieces and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Bill attended the Ontario Agricultural College in Ridgetown where he graduated in 1962. After graduation, Bill worked for the College in the veterinary services department, then worked for Canada Packers in Highgate, and then became a well-respected and known salesman in agriculture commodities. Bill had a passion for horse racing in which he shared with his father.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held in the near future and will be announced once available.
Donations in memory of Bill may be made to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
