Peacefully on December 24, 2018 in his 88th year at Arbor Heights Nursing Home. Loving husband for 66 years to Barbara (Harris). Loving Dad to Pat (late Marcel) Gaudet, Shelley Stevenson and Jeffrey (Catherine). Treasured Pop to Marc (Alexandria) Gaudet and Michael Gaudet and his pride and joy great granddaughter Mary Gaudet. Predeceased by his parents William and Doretta Stevenson, and sister Doris McCheyne. Bill retired after 35 years of service with Corrections Canada and was well known as a part time employee at Lasalle Park beer store. The family would like to thank Dr. Kennedy and the staff at Arbor Heights Nursing Home for the great care that they gave to Bill during his time there. At Bill’s request cremation has taken place and there will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
