William Ross (Bill) Shackel of Brandon, formerly of Glenboro, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the age of 78 years.
Bill leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Rosemary (nee Smith), daughters Connie (Craig) Myers of Glenboro & Colleen (Tony) Carnevale of Calgary AB, son Donald (Jacquie) Shackel of Winnipeg, seven grandchildren: Stephanie Myers (Mike Pope), Spencer Myers (Erin Hetherington), Samantha Myers, Jordan Shackel (Amanda Yaworski), Linnea Shackel, Lia Carnevale and Julia Carnevale as well numerous extended family members.
A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Glenboro Kinsmen Community Hall on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Harry Friesen officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Bill can be made to the Glenboro and Area Foundation, designated towards Educational Scholarships, Box 147, Glenboro MB R0K 0X0.
