William Thomas Neal Linklater, age 70, lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at Ste. Anne Hospital in the presence of his wife Gayle, his son James, daughter-in-law Joy, and daughters: Autumn and Aynslie. William passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018.
He is also survived by daughters Christienne (Robert), Kiera, son-in-law Michael and grandchildren.
Will was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and being at one with nature. He was also known for his fundraising efforts, his most passionate being ‘Ride with The King’. He was a very determined person who once decided to do something would not stop at anything until he achieved his goal.
The family would like to say ‘Thank You’ to Cathe and Jordan, Rick and Marj, Frank and Laurie, Ken and Debbie, Danny and Sharon, Vic and Susan, all family and friends as well as our Prayer Warriors who have been an amazing support over the last two years. Thank you to Dr de Moissac and the staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
