William ”Kevin” Joseph Edwards
February 11, 1938 – January 20, 2018

EDWARDS, William “Kevin” Joseph – age 79 of Kingston, NS passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the QEII, Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Russell William and Catherine Ellen (Scanlon) Edwards. Kevin retired after 35 years with Royal Canadian Air Force; having 3 tours of duty in Germany and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch, Branch No. 98 in Kingston. He loved watching hockey, reading, working on his computer and was a great cook. He loved to travel and enjoyed learning about things especially history. Kevin will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 24 years, Anne (Meisner); step-daughter Carolyn Saulnier of Kentville; brother Robert “Bob” Edwards of Halifax; step-grandchildren Lisa Saulnier of Halifax and David (Nicole) Saulnier of Cole Harbour; step-great grandchildren Kyle, Lucas and Levi. Besides his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his brother Blair. In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Royal Canadian Legion Tribute will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 24th in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902-825-3448 followed by a Memorial Service with Rev. Deacon Don Boudreau officiating. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. A reception will be held following the service in the Kingston Legion, 1472 Veterans Lane, Kingston.
