William Howard Mintzer
On September 29, 2018, aged 76. Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gay Hamilton and their children, Douglas (Kate) and Clare (Justin), his friend and former wife Lenore Schwartzman and their son Moses (Bobbi), his son Bill, and his grandchildren, Hanna, Reece and Luna, as well as his brothers and sisters in the United States. Originally from San Francisco, Bill served in the U.S. Navy (UDT) in Vietnam, rode motorcycles in California, farmed in New Hampshire, sailed in the Caribbean, renovated homes in Montreal, kept horses in Saint Lazare and sort of retired in Williamstown, Ontario. His wit and sense of adventure will be sadly missed. Never a dull moment! In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre.
