Obituary Overview
William Ellsworth Holton
It is with great sadness that the family of Bill announces his passing after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love of his family.
Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marion; his children Margie (Gord) Davidson, Bill (Anne) and Patsi (Mark) Hunter; his grandchildren Emily (Brian), Elizabeth, Allie, James, Clare, Will, Kate, David, John, Thomas, Daniel and Laura; his sisters Anne Simpson (formerly Lang) and Joyce (Paul) Corcoran; and his brother Alen (Pam). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and good friends. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Elaine (nee Ellsworth), brothers-in-law David Lang and Peter Simpson.
Bill had so many passions, but first and foremost it was family. Georgian Bay was close to his heart and a place he, his family and his friends gathered every summer.
The family would like to thank the Juravinski Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Bill.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Tamahaac Club, 180 Filman Road, Ancaster. Bill will be laid to rest privately at Burlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) or to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of William Ellsworth Holton 2018..
