William ‘Bill’ Fleming Crandall
1933-2018
William “Bill” Fleming Crandall, 85, of
Petitcodiac, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Jordan
Lifecare Centre. Born in Petitcodiac, he was the son of the late
Phillip and Vera (Geldart) Crandall and beloved husband of Norma
Crandall.
Bill was a Planer at Fawcett’s Lumber
Company. He was an usher at the Petitcodiac Baptist Church, and
enjoyed woodworking, puzzles, and especially going for
drives.
In addition to his wife, Bill is
survived and sadly missed by his daughters, Christine Crandall of
Cambridge, ON and Joanne Hall of Petiticodiac; sons, Douglas (Marlene)
Crandall of Waterford, Brian “Jap” Crandall of Pollett
River, and Stephen (Doreen) Crandall of Petitcodiac; 11 grandchildren;
16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Bill was
predeceased by sisters, Marion Robinson, and Edith Devereaux; brother,
Sydney Crandall.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350
Route 106 (372-4800), from where visiting will be held on Tuesday,
December 18, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm. Service will take place in the
funeral home chapel on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11am with Rev.
David Woodworth officiating. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial
Gardens.
If desired, donations to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society, or a charity of the donor’s
choice would be appreciated by the family.
