The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on
Sunday, December 31st, 2017 of William (Bill) Daley, Charlottetown,
age 87. Bill was born in St. Mary’s Road P.E.I. He spent most of his
adult life in Ontario retiring from General Motors 29 years ago. He
returned to the Island 21 years ago and lived in Charlottetown. He
leaves to mourn his wife of 61 years, Anita (Roche) and his three
children Mary Huicinga (Eric), Margaret Middleton (Ken), and Theresa
Daley. Bill is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Cole
Huicinga, Jessica and Ryan Middleton; his sister Pauline McCarthy
(James) and sisters-in-law Ruth Daley and Mary Daley. Bill was
predeceased by his infant children Michael and Marlene, infant
grandson Matthew, brothers Reg, Louis, Fabian and his sister Gertrude
McGuigan (Howlan). Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home until
Saturday at 10:15 a.m., then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer
for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitation Friday 5-8 pm. Memorial
donations to the Kidney Foundation (PEI) would be appreciated.
