1929-2018
Mr. Wilbert Samuel Kerr was born in Keppel, Saskatchewan and passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Boyle Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Ruth, son Douglas (Elizabeth) of Boyle, son Mel (Marg) of Sherwood Park, daughter Jennifer of Edmonton, daughter Donni (Scott) of New Westminster B.C, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He leaves also 1 brother Jim of Biggar, Saskatchewan and 1 sister Jean (Dennis) Fisher of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and one sister-in-law Joanne Schaefer of Calgary, Alberta, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters, an infant daughter and an infant son.
He led a full life, enjoyed his working life as well as traveling, golfing, floor curling, cribbage tournaments and gardening. His family meant everything to him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at the Boyle Seniors Drop-In Center on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 1:30 PM.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, or the Boyle Seniors Drop-In Center.
