Peters, Wayne Robert – We are with sad minds of the passing of Wayne Peters, age 60, on February 15, 2018, in Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by family.
Wayne is survived by long-time partner, Margaret “Marg” Myers; mother, Dolly; son, Joel (Ocean); daughter, Kimberley (Jordan) Carroll; grandchildren, Audrina, Jase, Quinn, Hannah; brothers, Edward, Dave (Jeanie), Keith (Hilda); sisters, Susan Martin, Joyce (Keith) Carvery; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by father, Carl; brother-in-law, Donnie Martin; grandparents, Myrtle and John Peters, Lawrence and Frances Carroll.
Wayne was active in sports and a very good first baseman in softball over the years. He also coached Little League ball. Wayne worked for Tartan Drywall for many years as a drywaller. In later years, he worked as a security guard and dispatcher. Wayne had a great sense of humour. He loved spending time on the lake fishing, as well as hunting.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. To honour his request, there will be no visitation or service. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
