Suddenly at the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, Wayne Ouderkirk of Chesterville, age 78. Loving husband of Alice Ouderkirk (nee Rupert). Loving father of Roger Ouderkirk of Berwick, Tammy McMartin (John Murdock) of Newington, Nancy Rainey (Kelvin) of Pickering and Susan Landry (Frank) of Berwick. Dear brother of Myrna McLean (George) of Finch and Reg Ouderkirk (Jenatta) of Ottawa. Dear brother-in-law of Lynn Ouderkirk of Finch. Wayne will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Paul, Jennifer, Amanda, Matthew, Blair, Evan, Erika, Bridgit, Sydney and great-grandchildren Abigail, Keith, Derek and Gabrielle. Predeceased by his daughter Marion and his brother Gary Ouderkirk. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A public graveside funeral service will be held at Finch Community Cemetery on Saturday, September 22nd at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lois Gaudet officiating. A luncheon will follow at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Chesterville. Donations to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or Chalmers United Church in Finch would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
