CRAWLEY, Walter Calvin
Age 85, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the QEII, Halifax Infirmary surrounded by his loving family. Walter was a son of the late Walter William and Gladys Crawley. He retired as a fireman with the Halifax Fire Department, and also as a plumber which he and his brother Donny owned together. He worked very hard to provide for his family which he loved dearly. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Adele; loving children, Christine, Beverly, Walter Jr. (Angie), Linda (David), Daniel (Alexa); cherished grandchildren, Scott, Lauren, Daniel Jr., Samantha; dear siblings, Myrna Cook, Donny (Dee), Carol (Bruce Heatherington); nieces, nephews and extended family. A special thank you to the staff of the Halifax Infirmary for their exceptional care and compassion, and to family and friends for their continuing support. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 24 from 12-1p.m. immediately followed by a chapel service in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. Burial following the service in Oakridge Memorial Gardens.
