Murray,
Vivian Helen, 96 of the Valley View Villa, Riverton formerly of
Abercrombie passed away October 6, 2018 at the
Villa.
Born in
Trenton she was a daughter of the late Simon Peter and Ida
Mae(Jardine)Snyder.
Vivian
was a resident of the Villa for the past 2 years having previously
resided in Stellarton and Autumn Crest Seniors in
Abercrombie. During her working years, she worked for Dr.
Milne and Dr. Shlossberg. She was a member of the First
United Church in Trenton, and was the last surviving member of her
immediate family.
She is
survived by nieces; Robin Murdoch, New Glasgow; Paula Bell,
Beaverbank; Shirley Tattrie, Ontario; Margaret Hillier, North Sydney;
nephews; Simon Snyder, New Glasgow; Tim Snyder, Texas; Christopher
Almon, Oshawa; Rob Pegg, Middleton; and Fin Snyder,
Ontario.
She was
predeceased by her husband James Murray, brothers; Brenton, Walter and
Carman, a nephew Allan, sisters; Marjorie Cabot and Margaret
Haggerty.
Cremation
has taken place.
A
memorial service will be held 11am Friday from the H.W. Angus Funeral
Home Chapel, New Glasgow with Rev. Wade Reppert presiding. A
reception will follow. A private family burial will follow
the reception at Heatherdale Memorial
Gardens.
Donations
in memory of Vivian may be made to the Pictou County SPCA or to a
charity of one’s choice.
