Vivian Laura Young (Bucholtz)
We are saddened to announce the passing of Vivian Young; wife of Raymond and owner of Young’s of Prescott clothing store. Vivian recently celebrated her seventy first birthday and fifty years of marriage. Vivian is survived by her husband Ray, her daughter Carrie Read and husband Steve of Brockville, her son Scott Young and wife Rachel of Ottawa. She was blessed to have amazing grandchildren Tyler Read and Megan Read of Brockville. She is also survived by her sister Marilyn May (Larry) of North Bay and her brother Bernard Bucholtz (Eloise) of Peterborough, brother-in-law Roy Young (Mary Ellen) of Winnipeg and sister-in-law Kay Young of North Bay. She will be missed by many nephews and nieces.
Friends and customers are invited to a celebration of Vivian’s life on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at the Irvine Memorial Chapel ad Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland from 12 noon until 2 p.m. with a service in the chapel commencing at 2 o’clock. A reception will follow. Donations to the BGH Foundation, the CHEO foundation or another charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged.
