Peacefully in the presence of loved ones at Hallowell House Nursing Home on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the age of 87. Virginia Ralley (nee Hele), former manager of Standard Trust Company and Laurentian Bank. Beloved wife of the late Allan A. Ralley (2014). Loving and proud mother of Carolyn (Bob Somers); the late Cynthia, 2014 (late Jim Hysen); Karen (David Carpenter); Joanne (Greg MacIsaac); and Janis. Dear sister of Mary Anne and the late Scott, Tom and Robert. Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Shirlee and Eleanor. Greatly missed by her grandchildren Christine, Angela, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Rick, David, Lisa, Matthew, Joshua, Stephen and Lindsay; and great-grandchildren Clara and Raleigh. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Hallowell House for their care and compassion. As desired by Mrs. Ralley, cremation will be followed by a private family service. Interment Cherry Valley Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
