Obituary of Victor Szakall
SZAKALL, Victor Laszlo suddenly with family close by at Grey Bruce Health Services Wiarton early Thursday morning December 20, 2018. Victor Szakall of Hepworth in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Kathleen La Budie Szakall and the late Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Szakall (nee Burmester). Cherished father of Eva of Hepworth and James and his partner Linda Pletz of Wiarton. Loved grandfather of Adam, Matthew, Jaime, John, Steven, Sean and Talia and great grandfather of Tynan, Addison and Landon. Dear brother of Attila (Maria) Szakall of Budapest, Izbella Dezsenyi of Newmarket and brother-in-law of Erzsibet Szakall of Gravenhurst and Anna Szakall of Kilsyth. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Julianna (nee Csomor) and Peter Szakall, grandaughter Ariana, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Sauble Beach Community Centre on Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a sharing of memories at 2:00 p.m. Knowing Victor’s personality, please wear colours (not black). Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. Spring Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hepworth. In lieu of flowers, expressions of remembrance to Chapman House or the Oncology Department at Owen Sound Hospital would be appreciated.
