Reede, Victor Vernon Robert, 79 , Pubnico, NS passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 79. Born in Lower Argyle he was a son to Bryce and Alice (Trott) Reede. He spent the first four years of his life on Deep Cove Island, returning to the mainland to attend school. Victor was a fisherman and in the fishing industry for 35 before his retirement.He loved being outdoors puttering around the yard and cutting wood. He enjoyed bowling and participated in different leagues throughout the years. Victor was a family man, loving husband ,father and grandfather. He is survived by loving wife of 57 years, Janice(Goodwin) Reede; daughter Melissa (Ira) Reede, Mavillette; son Christpher (Kim) Reede, Pubnico; brothers Irving, Victoria, BC.; George, East Pubnico; sister Amy D’Aloisio, Toronto; Grandchildren Aaron, Amanda, Alexander, Tristen and Brett; great grandchildren Maelle, Adeline and Jillian. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Austin, James and Harry; sisters Mary, Virgina and Ethelda. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A Family Interment will take place at a later date.
