On April 22nd, 2018 Ray Hines of Half Moon Lake in Thorhild County, AB passed away at the age of 68 years. Ray wore many hats in the outlying communities but was probably remembered most as a building inspector, safety codes officer and volunteer firefighter. Ray was predeceased by his loving wife Laurie Hines, his parents Bill and Dorothy Hines, his sister Verna Kurschenska, his niece Lory Neufeld and his great nephew Andrew Wilson. His is survived by his loving family Terri (Steve) Filek, Dane (Amore, Stephen) Tolfree, Steve (Cheryl, Jesse, Erica, Levi) Wilson, Ross (Jo) Wilson and Dave (Geoffrey, Johanna) Neufeld as well as many great friends. A Celebration of life was held in Thorhild, AB at The Legion Hall. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice. Westlock Funeral Home & Crematorium Ltd. 780-349-3474.
