Verla Kathleen Bertolo (née Rich) passed away on December 29, 2017 at the Rosetown & District Health Centre at the age of 94 years.
Verla was born on May 21, 1923, in Neville, SK. to parents Albert and Lilla Rich. She married Albert Bertolo on July 5, 1945 and they had three children Lilla, Richard and Darla.
Verla worked as a cook at the Rosetown & District Health Centre for 12 years. She was a member of the Royal Purple and enjoyed playing bingo. Her cat Milo was very special to her.
Verla will be lovingly remembered by her son Richard and daughter Darla. She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1987 and her daughter Lilla in 2007.
A private graveside service was held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rosetown Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Verla may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Ave, Unit #26, Saskatoon, Sask. S7K 1V9.
