Vera Margaret Duffy (nee Boylan)
1926-2018
Peacefully with her family
by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, December 5,
2018 of Vera Duffy of Charlottetown, formerly of Ft. Augustus age 92
years.
Beloved wife of the late Earl Duffy. Dear mother of Earla
(Martin) Avery, Marion (Norman) Avery, Donna (Lorne) Gay and Jack
(Lynn) Duffy. Loving Grammy of Korey (Liz), Krista (Jason), Kent,
Kelsey (Adrienne), Chandra (Matt), Patrick (Erin), Amanda (Jody),
Jennifer (Jeremy) and Rebecca. Proud Nana to great grandchildren
Kiefer, Brendan, Seamus, Jenna, Ella, Emily, Claire, Lydia, Griffin
and Kylah. She was predeceased by her parents John and Laura Boylan,
brothers Charlie and Gavin Boylan, sisters Marion MacNally, Agnes
MacKinnon, 2 children and 1 great grandchild in
infancy.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Patrick’s
Church, Ft. Augustus for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.
Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and
7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
