Lane, Thomas Walter, 78, Truro, passed away Tuesday, October
16, 2018 in the Colchester East Hants Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, he
was a son of the late Walter and Margaret (Ross) Lane. Tom worked for
many years for the Town of Truro with the Water Department. He was a
member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association, 102 Colchester
Wing, Truro.
He is survived by his wife Norma (Robinson) Lane; daughters,
Tricia Fox (Kevin) of Bible Hill, Darlene Richard (Jeff) of New
Glasgow, Althea Lane (Charlie) of Salmon River, Wanda Lane (Robert) of
Trenton. ON; grandchildren, Angi, Josh, Andrea, Peter, Holly, Andrew,
Nathan, Emma, Aaron; great-grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Jase, Autumn,
Jensen, Alexa; sister, Althea Upham (Raymond) of Chicago; extended
family, Tanner, Sue, Vicki Lynn-Marie and family.
He was predeceased by a step-son Troy; brother,
Clarence.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No visitation or
funeral service by family request. Donations in memory may be made to
the Palliative Care Unit of CEHHC, Truro, Diabetes Canada or to the
Colchester East-Hants Hospice Society. Private messages of condolence
