Born August 23, 1924, in Edinburgh, Scotland, Tom passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood on Thursday, October 18th, 2018 in his 95th year. Loving husband of the late Isabelle “Betty” Jamieson (née McComb) and the late Shirley Ewing. Cherished father of Richard Christie & his wife Marva Jean of Perth, Elizabeth Levesque & her husband Rod of Havelock, Stephen Christie & his wife Cheryl of Peterborough.… Read More » Beloved grandfather of Gavin (Sarah), Ryan (Laurie), Bryce (Cheryl), Brandon and Kyle. Proud great-grandfather of Hannah, Gracie, Charlotte & Brett Christie and Austin & Caleb Levesque. Tom was a member of the Kawartha Shrine Club and the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was also a well-known local dance band musician for many years playing at the Havelock Hotel and numerous other venues. Tom’s life will be honored and celebrated at WEAVER Life Centre – Campbellford, 77 Second St. on Friday, October 26th, 2018 at 2 PM. Reception to follow. A Private Masonic Service will take place at 1 PM. As per Tom wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Kawartha Shrine Club.
