Theresa “Queen” Bird was born on Tuesday, December 22, 1953, in Ile a La Crosse, SK, and passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 64 years. Theresa is survived by her loving family, her husband, Rene Bird; her sons, Daniel (Rolanda) Montgrand, Donovan Montrgrand; her daughters, Darlene (Kevin) Favier, Debbie (Joey) Montgrand; her grandchildren, Tyrel Herman, Callie Herman, Owen Favier, Tanisha Montgrand, Tenille Morin, Tyesha Morin, Dakota Herman; her sister, Alice (Tobie) Montgrand; her brothers, Jules (Eva) Montgrand, Geoge (Jennifer) Montgrand, John B. Montgrand, Kelly (Marlene) Kwan, Joe Montgrand; her mother-in-law, Sally Bird; her brother-in-law, John Bird; her sisters-in-law, Stella, Virginia; her great-grandchildren, Tobie Favier, Aden Favier, Darian Herman, Denisha Toulejour; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Joachim Montgrand; her mother, Madeline Gertrude Montgrand; her brothers, Charles Montgrand, Micheal Montgrand; her aunts and uncles, Annie (Thomas) Bagg, Elise (Leon) Montgrand; her sister-in-law, Betsy Daigneault. Theresa’s funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at St. Mark Church, Father Jim Kaptein officiating. Interment to follow at South Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home, (306)764-2727, Don Moriarty, Funeral Director.
