With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Terry (Buck) on June 17, 2018 at the age of 59. He was cherished by so many and will be deeply missed by his much loved sons Tyler, and Riley and stepdaughter Jennah (Brent) and treasured and loving partner Hazel Gilchrist. Terry is the son of Marlene and the late Pat Orr, dear brother of Greg (Lois), Debra Hurley (Bill), Stephen (Sarah) and twin sister Sherry (Mike). He will be missed by his huge circle of friends, the Gee family and of course his canine friends Daisy and Maddie. He was adored by numerous nieces and nephews. He fought a long battle against cancer and met each challenge with courage. He was hoping to last one more year to finally see his Leafs win the Stanley Cup. In keeping with Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:00 am, followed by the interment at Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea. A reception will be held at the Storringtion Lions Hall following the interment. A celebration of life will occur later in July. The family wishes to thank Dr. Harle, Dr. Ostic and Dr. Wasson. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Terry’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
