Terrance Van de Pol
Terrance William van de Pol, resident of smith, formerly of Hines Creek, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Grande Prairie Care Centre, at the age of 80 years.
Terry was born at Johanna’s Maternity Home in smith, AB on June 3, 1937. Terry spent his childhood in Buffalo Lake and smith. He had various employments but spent most of his life as a cook in the Arctic and as a farmer.
Terry was a very meticulous farmer and housekeeper who took great pride in his yard. He was an avid collector, especially of antiques and model tractors.
He will be sadly missed by his siblings: Joyce (Kay) Maple, and Bert (Madeleine) van de Pol; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents Willem and Mary van de Pol, sister and brother in-law Rita and Glen Seabrook, and brother John van de Pol.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018, at 2:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
