Obituary of Tena Saeteraas
Saeteraas, Tena (Pietens)
Tena passed away peacefully into the arms of her loving Saviour, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 86.
She was born in Groningen, Holland. Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Henrietta (VanderSluis) Pietens, her brothers, Mike, Martin and Lambert Pietens and her sister Nancy VanLanduyt.
Beloved wife of Arthur Saeteraas of Chatham.
Kind sister-in-law of Grace Pietens, Julia Pietens, Astri Kosmo and Mana Kruken.
Sadly missed by her step-children, Anita (Knut), Bente (Knut), Marit (Roar), Ole Anton (Monika), grandchildren and great grandchildren, all in Norway.
Cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5-8 p.m.
The Funeral Service will take place at the McKinlay Funeral Home, on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 1 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to service time.
Rev. Michael Koppes of Praise Fellowship Church will be officiating.
Interment will be held in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Tena to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
