Gough, Tena Irene
Passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on November 12, 2018, at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, with her daughter Laurie by her side.
Predeceased by her husband Patrick Gough (2012). Loving mother of Linda (Steve) Kommrush and Laurie Gough (Rob McCart), and cherished grandmother of Quinn McCart. Dear sister of Jean Kettles.
Tena grew up on a farm in Manitoba during the Depression. She went on to become a high school math and science teacher, which is where she met the love of her life. She and Patrick were married for 53 years, and had two daughters. They enjoyed camping and travelling with their family. Tena loved her garden, discussing politics, reading, and playing bridge.
Private cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Clean Air Partnership would be appreciated by the family.
