Sylvia Joan Wiggins, nee van Steenburgh, born December 22, 1933, beloved wife of John R. Wiggins passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on Saturday December 8, 2018. Cherished mother of Christopher, Sheralie and Lisa, grandmother of Michael, Joshua, Daniel, Taylor, Spencer, Emily and Jonathan. She was predeceased by her parents Walter Elgin and Lydia van Steenburgh and brothers Elgin and Walter. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Creemore Chapel on Thursday December 13, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 22 Caroline St. W Creemore at 2 p.m. on Friday December 14, 2018. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
