CROSSMAN SYDNEY U. – At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday,
January 7th, 2018 Sydney Uneack Crossman, husband of Wira (Kwasnycia)
Evans of St. Stephen, NB. Born in Moncton, NB he is the son of the
late Uneack & Helene (Breau) Crossman.
Educated in New Brunswick, Sydney worked with CP Rail
eventually moving out west to BC where he worked with BC Rail. He
moved back to NB to work with his brother in law’s company Rent
a Wreck. While residing in NB Sydney loved the outdoors and enjoyed
fishing and hunting. He also worked in the local Royal Canadian Legion
in Moncton serving as bartender. Sydney moved on to Toronto where he
worked for many years as a security specialist with G 4 Security.
A veteran of the Vietnam War Sydney served with the Armed
Forces.
Surviving in addition to his wife Wira are his son Marcus Crossman
of Toronto, and daughter Melissa LeBlanc and her husband Michael of
Mississauga, ON, 2 grandchildren, one brother Oral Crossman (Helen) of
Moncton, NB, one sister Helen (Richard) of ON, one aunt Beth, nieces,
nephews and cousins.
A memorial service in celebration of Sydney’s life will be
held later in the spring at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street,
St Stephen, NB (506 – 466 … 3110) with a reception to follow in
the funeral home reception centre.
Time and date of service will be announced at a later time. In
lieu of flowers donations to the Charlotte County SPCA would be
appreciated by the family. Online condolences to the family or
