Susan Mary McKenzie was born on Monday, February 14, 1949 in Prince Albert, SK, and passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in La Ronge, SK, at the age of 69 years. Susan is survived by her loving family, her husband of 31 years, Isaac McKenzie; her children, Aaron McKenzie, Flora (George) McKenzie, Samuel McKenzie, Isaac Jr. (Lydia) McKenzie; her grandchildren, SonJa, Joseph, Clinton, Alyssa, Kendall, Skylar, Caleb, Bryce, Alison, Renee and Heidi; her brothers, Henry Roberts, Gordon Roberts; her aunt, Florence Ratt; her godchildren, Jeremy McKenzie, Megan McKenzie; her sisters-in-law, Flora Isbister, Rosie Cook; her brothers-in-law, Colin (Susan) McKenzie, Alec McKenzie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Noah and Flora (nee Halkett) Roberts; her brother, John Roberts; her stepbrothers, Sam Roberts and Stephen Roberts; her step sister, Jean Roberts; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Philip and Sally McKenzie; her sisters-in-law, Jessie Roberts, Matilda Roberts, Hannah Charles, Angelique McKenzie, Bella McKenzie. Susan’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the All Saint’s Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Rev. Richard Custer, Tom Sanderson and Edna Mirasty presiding. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Lac La Ronge Funeral Home in La Ronge, SK, 306-425-3666, Debra Klassen, Funeral Director, and River Park Funeral Home in Prince Albert, SK, 306-764-2727, Donald M. Moriarty, Funeral Director.
