OBITUARY
Susan Marguerite Langley-Piscatello
April 22, 1934 – June 7, 2018
Firstborn child of the late Billy George and Margaret-Billy George Langley (King) at Point Tupper, NS.
In 1954 Susan Marguerite graduated from the Halifax Infirmary School of Nursing. While nursing at the Infirmary, she studied at Dalhousie University and in 1966 graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Administration. She moved to Montreal and while nursing undertook studies in Psychiatric Nursing at the Royal Victoria. She also lived and nursed in Ontario.
While vacationing in Bermuda, she met the love of her life Carman Piscatello, whom she married in 1970. She then made her home in Wethersfield, CT. In 1987, while continuing her nursing career, Susan Marguerite graduated from Charter Oak College with a Bachelor of Science degree. Susan Marguerite retired from Hartford General Hospital after twenty-nine years of service. Always a student, even while wintering in Florida she was studying—the Spanish language.
Her husband passed away in 2010 and in 2011 she moved back to the Maritimes. For the past five years, she lived at Parkland at the Gardens in Halifax and Parkland at the Lakes in Dartmouth.
She is survived by two sisters, Hazel Fry (Don) of Port Hawkesbury and Gwen Marble (Clinton) of Dartmouth; a sister-in-law, Marie (the late Fred) Langley of Point Tupper as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Fred (Marie) and sister, Julia (Arnold) Cameron.
Of the Piscatello family she is survived by a stepson, Terry, his wife, Edna of Kentucky, their children and grandchildren. She was especially cherished and loved by her niece, Gina DeAngelo, Gina’s husband, Mattias and their two children, Tommy & Chrissy of Wethersfield, CT.
Thanks to all at Golden Years, Moncton, NB, and Parkland, NS who cared for and provided comfort to Susan Marguerite.

Cremation has taken place. A family service and Interment will take place at Southbrook Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury, NS at a later date.
