Sue May Poon
POON, Sue May (nee MARK) It is with profound
sadness that the family announces the passing of Sue May Poon, who died
peacefully on Sunday morning, December 9, 2018 in her 90th year,
surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Dock Sing Poon. She
will be forever missed and cherished by her loving children: Linda (David),
Judy, Michael (Susan), late David (Lillian), Norman (Lucy), Paul. She will be greatly
missed by her loving grandchildren: Deborah (Eric), Jennifer (Shaun),
Christopher, Alexander (Kristel), Catherine, Caroline, Casey, Caitlyn, Jonathan
and her loving great grandchildren: Chloe, Brianna, Asher. She was a dedicated
hard worker and fully committed to family. Her children were her pride and joy.
Her scrumptious and tasty prepared meals will be fondly remembered by all. She
had a wonderful sense of humour. She loved and encouraged all her children to
achieve their highest potential.
A most heartfelt and sincerest thank you to all the
staff of the Markham Stouffville Hospital, especially Dr. Ian Britton and nurse
Birgit, for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Sue May.
Visitation will take place at the Highland Funeral
Home Markham Chapel, 10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham, (northeast corner of 16th
& 404 exit), 905-887-8600 _www.highlandfuneralhome.ca on Wednesday, December
12, 2018 between 5 – 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday,
December 13, 2018 at 11:00 am.
Private interment will take place on Saturday,
December 15, 2018 at 11:00 am in Montreal at the Mount Royal Cemetery, 1297 Chemin
de la Forét, Montréal, Quebéc H2V 2P9, 514-279-6540 www.mountroyalcem.com
