It is with sad but grateful hearts that we share that Raymond Richard Stubel has passed into the presence of the Lord. He quietly left us on December 26th 2018 at age 87. Ray humbly served the Lord in all aspects of his life, including as a church founder and pastor, a loving husband and a caring father.
Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Doreen and his children Diane Lestage, Don (Lesley) Stubel, Dale (Sheri) Stubel. Ray will also be fondly remembered by his twelve grandchildren: Eron, Chenea, Judah and Mia Lestage; Chris and Justin Stubel; Austin, Dallas and Carter Stubel; Ashley (Ryan) van Deventer; Grace and Daniel Kingston; as well as by three great-grandchildren Peyton, Lydia and Rozalie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday January 4th, 2019 at 1:00 pm, at Sardis Fellowship Church, 45187 Wells Road, Chilliwack BC V2R 1H6 with Pastor Rod Rod Heppell officiating. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Ray Stubel to the “Millar College of the Bible” at PO Box 25, Pambrun, SK S0N 1W0 or via E-transfer to finance@millarcollege.ca.
