We are very sad to announce the sudden passing of our Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle and Grand Father, Stephen William Scott at his residence.
Stephen was predeceased by his grandparents Mary Jane & Cornelius Scott, Hazel & Lloyd Keast. Father Trevor Newton. Auntie’s Jessie Scott, Linda Kent, Deborah Scott, Rhonda Scott and Uncle’s Jimma Scott, Terry Newton. Sister Karen Valerie Scott and lil brother Orvil Ryan Scott.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 28 years, Bonnie Mandamin. His children Ramsey Mandamin, Marcia Mandamin (Paul), Natasha Mandamin (Trevor), Garcia Mandamin and Tammy Scott (Drake). His grandchildren Hailey, Ashten and Lorenzo. He also leaves to mourn are his parents Sandra Scott and Tom Land. His In-laws Philip Kent and Gladys Mamdamin. His brothers Joe Katcheconias (Pearl), Kevin Scott (Patricia), Charlie, Darren Newton, Christopher Newton. His sisters Cindy (Mark), Munchie (Albert), Tina Newton, Samantha Newton. Also left to mourn are his aunties Amik, Mary Jane McDonald, Valerie Fisher, Joyce Scott, Emily Scott, Shirley Koreen, Susie Newton and Muggie Keast and his uncle Lee Keast.
He leaves to mourn many cousins, nieces and nephews that are too many to mention.
Steven was a quiet a sports fan as he would be watching hockey, football or baseball with his stepfather Tom, when his favorite teams would play.
He enjoyed watching movies, singing to country music and fishing. In his younger years he would be found at his auntie Val’s house either cutting grass for his grandparents, horsing around with his brother Kevin and cousins. Or eating the food that Val had in her fridge. Seemed to be quiet often too.
The family would like to thank the following members of the First Response Team; Audrey Mandmain, Ronnie Mandamin and Erica Mandamin. Also the Treaty Three Police Services.
Wake Service will begin on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 4:00pm at the Whitedog School Gymnasium. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Frank Kowal officiating with burial to follow at Whitedog.
