It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephen Bernard Fillmore announces his passing that occurred unexpectedly on Wednesday December 26, 2018 at his residence. Born 1959 in Fredericton, NB he was the son of Beryl (Bernard) and the late Jack Fillmore. Stephen worked as a Pipefitter for many years and was employed with Lorneville Mechanical, Master Mechanical and Security. He was a scout leader for many years and enjoyed watching hockey, baseball and football, especially the Green Bay Packers. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sandra (O’Leary) Fillmore; his children Matthew, Kara and Jaclyn; grandchildren Taylor and Madison; his siblings Linda, Wayne (Melanie), Doug and Brian; mother-in-law Connie O’Leary and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his father-in-law Harold O’Leary.
Following cremation, visitation will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Sunday December 30, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. The family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of one’s choice.
