Stephen Bye 2018

OBITUARY
M. Stephen Bye
June 5, 1955 – December 8, 2018
With deep sadness we announce that Stephen has passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at age 63. Loving father of Alia and Harrison, son of Milton and Jean, brother of Nancy (Wayne), and predeceased by his mother Frances (1976). A long-time friend to the mother of his children Afshan. Dear stepbrother of Cathy (Bill), David (Deb) and Chris (Barb) Tennant. Loved by nine nieces and nephews and three grand nephews and niece. Fondly remembered by his special friend Sigrid. Native of Owen Sound, he had a diverse career in sales but his true passion of music and the performing arts is where he started and finished his career. Stephen was an avid sailor, world traveler, excellent cook, Scout leader, PTA parent, scotch connoisseur, and opera and blues aficionado. He particularly loved spending the summer at both Balmy Beach and Sauble Beach. His goofy and at times sarcastic sense of humour caused many to laugh out loud including his family and many, many friends. He has been cremated and a celebration of life will be held in the summer. As he liked to say; “Cancer sucks”! If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice and/or Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival as an expression of sympathy.
