Stephanie Aitken Nov. 18, 1943 – July 21, 2018
Stephanie Joy Aitken (Sills) of Port Alberni, BC passed away peacefully at the age of 74 years. She is survived by son Daniel Aitken and his wife Karen Aitken of Whitehorse, YT, son Marty Aitken and his wife Annette Junek of Richmond, BC. Brother Ben Sills and his wife Barbara of Powell River, BC, sister Penny Kosmenko (Sills) and her husband Edward of Whitehorse, YT, brother Matthew Sills and his wife Bonnie of Whitehorse, YT. Second husband Barrie Aitken and his wife Adrien Tylor of Delta, BC. Also survived by granddaughters Brianna, Alicia and Haley Aitken and nieces Jennifer Eastland and Abigail Kosmenko, nephew Lon LaBrash and niece Noelle Winter, nephew Adam Sills and niece Brittany Cross. Predeceased by her parents Percivil (Pip) Sills and Joy Sills of Nanaimo, BC as well as first husband Kenneth Callis and third husband Anthony Donaldson.
Stephanie was born and raised in Victoria, BC and then moved in her teens to Quesnel, BC. After a short stint living with her boys in Mexico, Stephanie moved to Vancouver, remarried and shortly thereafter relocated to Whitehorse, YT and spent the next 10 years in the North where she enjoyed success at her passion of breeding and showing Golden Retrievers. After leaving the Yukon, Stephanie resided in Edmonton, Albert and then Waterloo, Ontario before retiring to Vancouver Island.

Celebration of life to take place at a later date in Whitehorse, YT.
